Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Today, we celebrated Mother’s Day. We hosted breakfast at our house. Most of Sean’s family came over and enjoyed a great meal. Sean grilled marinated steaks on the grill with roasted potatoes and peppers. Inside, I made scrambled eggs, fruit salad, and these yummy cinnamon squares from this cookbook. There was so much delicious food and we didn’t hesitate to devour it all!

Sean’s mother, myself, and his currently pregnant sister were the mothers of honor today. We all exchanged gifts. They both brought me beautiful bouquets. I gave my sister-in-law a book on motherhood and my mother-in-law a beach bag full of goodies for our upcoming beach trip.

We spent breakfast surrounded around a table, enjoying each other’s company, and devouring delicious treats. It was a morning full of good food and great memories. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the mothers in our little family.

What are you all doing for Mother’s Day? How are you celebrating and loving the mommas in your life this weekend?
